Recherche-Développement
Research and Development
The transfer of ACTALIA’s expertise is made possible through:
- the skills of specialists acquired during confidential private Research & Development contracts (with companies and professional organizations) and
- through the implementation of research programs, funded publicly, with leading public laboratories.
These public partnerships enable scientific and technical renewal for ACTALIA’s experts and are conducted within the framework of regional project calls (local authorities, competitiveness clusters, etc.), national calls (ANR, etc.), and European calls (Framework Programs, Horizon 2020, etc.). The public laboratories involved are numerous and leading in the thematic areas addressed (CNRS, INRA, Universities, ANSES, other technical centers, European public laboratories, etc.).
This competence development is also facilitated by ACTIA through specific organizations financially supported by the Ministry of Agriculture:
UMT (Unité Mixte Technologique): A five-year partnership with a public laboratory.
RMT (Réseau Mixte Technologique): Coordination and/or participation in national excellence networks, lasting five years, bringing together experts from public research and agri-food technical centers.
These skill acquisitions are leveraged through two channels:
- Public Valorization: Scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals and national professional journals. Participation in national and international conferences (presentations, posters).
- Private Valorization: Implementation of private, confidential, and tailored Research & Development contracts.
The methodological, technological, and scientific themes addressed are presented in more details on the Research page of each ACTALIA unit.
